Review:

The Quest's plot involves lots of magic and the direct descendent of Marie Laveau, and being an American Horror Story fan, I pictured Angela Basset as the main character Tiara! I enjoyed how diverse and different each character is. You can tell that each character has a distinct voice which I always enjoy. The quest to gather materials in order for the curse that was placed on Tiara and Delmar is fun and also a cool treasure hunt of sorts. A common theme in the book is also family, whether it's blood or friends, the author makes a point of families sticking together. There are some bits that could've been expanded but overall, this is a fun adult quick read that older people can enjoy!
