princess, and a thoughtful healer challenge Ximena, her mission becomes more
complicated. There could be a way to overthrow the usurper without starting
another war, but only if Ximena turns her back on revenge—and her Condesa.
Review:
To be frank, I haven't read much literature written by Latin authors as I haven't heard great anticipated books by them. Woven In Moonlight however, I am glad to say, has changed that for me. Based on the author's Bolivian heritage, the story about Ximena and her journey to rightfully return the balance in not only her life but of her people. From colorful descriptions of Bolivian food that'll leave your mouth watering (which are found in the glossary of the book which is very helpful!), to the intricate plot of Ximena learning that their story is not just in black and white and not so simple as she wants it be. The world building in this story is done so well that is complex but easy enough to follow and picture. I am absolutely excited to start this new year and decade with Woven In Moonlight.
